Business Account Manager
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
--Mark Twain
What do you do at WebLux?
"Business Account Manager" cannot begin to describe the multitude of roles I play here at WebLux. I've done anything from creating number one designs to working one-on-one with my clients to find a solution that's right for them. Sometimes I'll spend time on internal R&D projects or find ways to do what we do best, even better--like redefining the Weblux process.
"On Mondays, I never go to work. On Tuesdays, I stay at home. On Wednesdays I never feel inclined, work is the last thing on my mind. On Thursdays, its a holiday! And Fridays I detest. It's much too late on Saturday, and Sunday's the day of rest." --They Might be Giants.
Favorite portfolio piece?
Well to be honest, I can't pick just one. Two of my favorite personal projects are ONE-CT and Xtreme-Impact. ONE-CT was made to have a professional look and feel, but still reflecting the field of health care and nursing. Xtreme-Impact on the other hand had more of a gunge look with a very powerful message.
I also am a big fan of the Lolita Mexican site for its beautiful design and flash work.
How did you get into all of this?
It all started way back in 18-tickety-two when bla bla bla.....etc.
When I was a young'un I love taking things apart, breaking them, and figuring out how to put them back together in a better way (computers most definitely included). When I was in High School I was looking around for some sort of IT job, and after stumbling across and working for BITS, I learned more about its sister company WebLux. I grew more and more interested about the world of Web and Graphic Design and Marketing. I started with virtually no knowledge of web design other than a Tripod website from 8th grade, and I've been with the companies for about three years now! Suckers!
